“I am very disappointed with LifeStance and the representatives who took my calls today. They offered no assistance and declined to help me contact my psychiatrist, despite my explaining that I was struggling with my mental health. Linda and Shanell made my experience very difficult and acted as though there was nothing they could do when I called to reschedule my psychiatric appointment. During my first call, I asked Linda whether there were any appointments available that afternoon, this Wednesday, or the following week. I was offered an appointment for September 24 after I stated several times that I had been struggling. I then asked whether the office had a cancellation list and whether I could be added to it. I was told that they do not have a cancellation list. I then asked to speak with a manager. Linda said she could take down my name and number and have someone call me back, but no one ever did. Zero for Linda. During my second interaction, I repeatedly communicated to Shanell that I was struggling and needed assistance rescheduling my appointment. Instead of offering additional options or assistance, the conversation focused on correcting or disputing what I had said. Shanell became very rude toward me, offered no assistance, and refused to transfer me to the location. Zero for Shanell. Mental health care requires clear communication, patience, and appropriate assistance when a patient communicates that they are struggling. In this situation, I did not feel that those needs were adequately addressed. I do want to recognize Monique and Alondra, who were exceptionally helpful. Both ladies were very kind, empathetic, and went above and beyond to assist me. Hugs to both of them—KUDOS! Unfortunately, because of my overall experience with Linda and Shanell/Chanel, I cannot recommend this office. My experience with Monique and Alondra showed me that better assistance was possible, which made the contrast with my earlier interactions especially disappointing.”

“I truly cannot implore you enough to stay away from this practice. After relocating to Colorado, I was seeking to establish care with a new provider, and chose Lifestance after seeing multiple positive reviews. However, I cannot begin to fathom the lack of care I have experienced here. They lack consideration for the patient, struggle to maintain consistent communication, and fail to provide adequate support. I find these things particularly important for mental health services. When I first joined Lifestance, I scheduled with a provider I chose. I will admit, I missed my first appointment. I did cancel, but not until the day of. That being said, I explained the situation to my practitioner, and she said she was still happy to take me as a client. I scheduled multiple appointments in advance. A week or so later, all of my appointments had been suddenly cancelled with zero notice or communication. Odd, but I assumed it was an error. When I called the office, I was informed that the provider had dropped me as a client due to caseload. I began seeing a new provider at Lifestance, who I actually enjoyed. After a few appointments, I received notice that this person was leaving the practice, and that I would have to select someone new to see. Okay, these things happen. Then, I begin seeing my third provider through Lifestance. During our appointment she seemed nice enough, there were no obvious red-flags, and she was extremely receptive to the feedback I had regarding my medication. Great! Once she calls in my medication, one of the required a pre-authorization. One calendar week, 3 portal messages, and a phone call later, I still cannot get ahold of her. I am still without my medication. I had told her in our initial meeting that this specific medication would require a pre-authorization due to me starting a new job and having new insurance, and that my history / information had already been sent over from my previous provider from before relocating to Colorado. Yet, here I am, still without my medication. At this point, I’ll just be finding a new office, something I should’ve done 2 providers ago. I will add, outside of medication management, the therapist (Emma) I have been seeing is really wonderful. Unfortunately, I will still be leaving Lifestance completely.”

“Great first experience with my new nurse practitioner! Thorough and kind! She took care of everything I needed and really let me have input on the best steps to move forward! Highly recommend!”

“We chose this office after reading the good reviews. Unfortunately we did not get that experience. The only visit that Loretta Wright actually spent the entire hour with us was the first one. Each visit after that was only 30 mins. Did not get the help we were seeking for our teen. Had a 12pm appt today and she walked my daughter out to me in the waiting room at 12:35. Frustrated another time we didn’t get the full hour that she is billing my insurance for. Asked her why another visit ended early she said oh she’s doing fine and just shrugged her shoulders. Worst experience, very unprofessional and will be finding someone else who is committed to helping our daughter.”
