Family Care Center Therapy & Psychiatry - Englewood

“For a year, I’ve been a patient. They’ve already lost two doctors that I had developed relationships with, and are now having me try to meet to develop yet another new relationship with. There must be reasons doctors keep leaving this practice. Then,,, Last week, I had to and reschedule an appointment, last minute, due to an emergency for my son and they charged me $100!!!!!!! They did NOT MENTION that there would be a fee at all, especially not $100. It’s outrageous! If they are a mental health provider, they should know that stuff happens in life, and not charge people a ridiculous amount of money for rescheduling an appointment, last minute when an emergency happens, or at least mention they are going to charge a fee! After the fee posted to my account, I reached out to the office directly, and kindly asked them to waive the fee as a one time courtesy and they denied my request. The person I spoke with said they are a manager and absolutely could not help and it was obvious they had 0 empathy. I feel like they could’ve done more for me. $100 is a ridiculous amount of money to charge for to rescheduled appointment. Huge disappointment. I have never had any doctor do this before. Do better. P.S. the AI auto-response is yet another RED flag. 🚩”

“This practice really let me down. Nearly six months of seeing the same therapist just to be notified the week of that they were leaving for a new opportunity elsewhere that weren't accepting new patients. No heads up given by the therapist or practice. No transition plan in place. Just gone in a week, good luck to you! My therapist said the practice would be reaching out the next day to make sure I was set up with someone new. I had to reach out nearly a week later and they were completely caught off guard. I received a call back an hour later, given vague details about another therapist they wanted to set me up with but in time slots that didn't necessarily work for me. This would have pushed it out nearly a month before I could get in. I can't, in good faith, give this practice a great review. Because what happens next time one of their therapists ups and quits the practice? Two stars given over the mere fact that at least I had a solid six months. Really saw the business side of therapy with this experience and it's disappointing.”
