“I have struggled with mental health most of my life, moved frequently as a military spouse, and experienced prolonged grief recently which contributed to my CPTSD symptoms making it extremely difficult to function. Throughout my life, medications did not seem to work and I was misdiagnosed which led to a lack of trust in people. When I learned of TMS/Ketamine, I decided to see what Colorado Psych had to offer. From the beginning, everyone was very validating, supportive, and made sure I had autonomy in my decisions. Dr. Stephanie is amazing and I hope to keep seeing her because she validates, listens, and explains treatment options to where I feel comfortable pursuing treatment. Since completing Ketamine/TMS, I and my family have noticed that I am not as hypervigilant and I am able to be present in my kids lives. Working with my therapist, Lindsey, I have begun to process a lifetime of trauma and be more present in my body. Its always a pleasure to see Savannah at the front desk for my appointments. TMS techs Tracy and Justin are kind, informative, and very supportive. Nurse Supervisor Johanna is very caring, validating, and answered all my questions and Nurse Phoebe was a calming presence during my infusions. I felt safe in a medical environment which is huge for me.”
