“APN has saved my life! World- class hospitality and great therapists and nursing staff. Charles, Tami, Michael, Brian, Major, and Lindsay were all part of my support team the entire time. I felt heard and they challenged me to confront the reasons why I felt the need to choose to drink in the first place. This place gave me the tools I need for a sustainable active recovery.”
“This place was a classic case of a wolf in sheep’s clothing. At first, everyone was kind and welcoming, and I genuinely believed I was going to have a positive treatment experience. Unfortunately, that turned out to be far from the truth. I was initially admitted to their detox facility, which is separate from the main lodge. The plan was for me to stay there overnight before transferring to the lodge the next day, and that’s exactly what happened. However, after I had already been admitted to the lodge, they suddenly decided that I had an eating disorder and discharged me after only one day. I was then told by multiple staff members—at least four or five people—that I would simply return to detox temporarily and then be allowed back into the lodge. However, while I was being driven back to detox, I was informed that they were actually planning to drop me off and leave me to figure things out on my own. Hearing that was devastating. I became extremely upset and nearly had a panic attack because I had no idea where I was supposed to go. Eventually, they allowed me back into detox for a reassessment, but shortly afterward they decided to terminate my stay entirely. Throughout the process, they repeatedly assured me they would help me find another treatment program, but that never happened. In the end, I had to search for another facility on my own. One of the nurses, JESSICA, publicly accused me of lying in front of staff and other patients. She stated that I was giving false information and needed to “stop lying and be honest” for the protection of her staff. I calmly asked if we could have the conversation privately, but she refused and continued speaking to me in an aggressive and disrespectful manner. Even other staff members acknowledged that her behavior was inappropriate and out of line. When I was finally discharged, I was once again told they would help me find another placement, but they provided little to no meaningful assistance. I ultimately had to make my own arrangements before deciding to leave. Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing. I felt misled, unsupported, and treated without compassion during one of the most vulnerable times of my life. If you’re considering this facility, I encourage you to do your research and carefully weigh your options. My experience was one of inconsistent communication, broken promises, and a lack of genuine support when I needed it most.”
“While it was an incredibly difficult decision to receive treatment here, I am so glad I did. APN was just what I needed for my mental health — a safe place with caring staff. I cannot say enough about all the staff; from the CSAs to chefs, to nurses, to the wellness/spa staff… I felt so welcomed and loved by every one of you. APN was the perfect place to kick start my healing journey. A few weeks into my time there, I was able to join a few more directed therapies. I joined the professionals group, trauma group, and EMDR therapy. This helped address my trauma from multiple angles. Above all, APN is a phenomenal place to receive trauma-informed care. I am so thankful I found APN!”
“APN Lodge has saved my life! If you’re looking for a 5 star treatment with 5 star amenities and great therapists this is your place. Tammy has helped save my life in so many ways. I am so so so grateful for APN Lodge.”
